UPSDM

o Train all eligible youth in 14-35 age group in the trades of their preference,provide facilities for acquisition and upgradation of skills of the unskilled and semi skilled workforce,enabling Provision for the vulnerable section e.g. women, pwd and minorities. 30% targets are earmarked for women; 20% for minorities,provide trainings in NSQF (National Skills Qualifications Framework) compliant courses only.​

PMKVY

PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) is India’s flagship skill development scheme by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), aiming to provide industry-relevant skill training to youth, making them employable and boosting livelihoods, with free training and certification under the Skill India Mission, implemented through the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). It focuses on large-scale, outcome-based training and also includes certifying individuals with existing skills through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
